Application of Thyristor AC Power Controller on the electrical heater in an Oxygen Plant

bstract: Thyristor AC Power Controller is the one of Semiconductor AC Power Controller as defined by IEC. And it is the switch without contact ,,and can control the time of close quickly and precisely with the thyristor (SCR or TRIAC).And it is indispensable to the power terminal control device in the automatic temperature system with high precision and dynamic. It is used to temperature automatic control in electrical heater which used the Nickel-Throme and Iron-Nickel-Aluminum as heating element. It constitutes the closed-loop temperature control system with PID temperature setting instrument or computer、temperature sensor ,and electrical heater. And its temperature precision can arrive at ±0.5%～1%. This paper introduces application of Thyristor AC Power Controller on the electrical heater in an Oxygen Plant.
